Bay Area local band, Abbot Kinney, co-headlines the iconic Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Saturday, August 19th. The band has played a wide range of other shows at SXSW, Silverlake Lounge, The Satellite and Rickshaw Stop along with opening for bands such as; Youngblood Hawke, sharing a residency with The Moth and The Flame and headlining a Halloween ‘Haunted Concert’ here in San Francisco.
Singer/songwriter, Jared Swanson leads the alternative band by bringing big vocal hooks and very heavy rhythm to each and every song. Their 2011 self-titled debut had a production value of complex instrumentation and the consistency of lyrics.
Since last year’s release of their EP, “The Night”, LIVE 105.3 Soundcheck Spins program has shown their support and consistent love for Abbot Kinney week by week. The full music video for their song “Can We Become” was just released this past July and left fans wanting more of this authentic and refined sound.
OneAvenue.TV previously sat down with lead singer/songwriter, Jared Swanson for an exclusive interview (check out the full interview here).
If you’re free tomorrow night in San Francisco, be sure to check out Abbot Kinney co-headlining with indie band, Y Axes! For more information and tickets, check out The Great American Music Hall website.
